ABTECH Africa Consults Limited partnered with Gulu University and the Office of the Prime Minister to implement the Development Response to Displacement Impacts Project (DRDIP), funded by the World Bank. ABTECH Africa Consults Limited led the planning and implementation of aquaculture project activities in displacement-affected communities. The company supported beneficiaries in the establishment and effective management of ecological fish ponds, delivered hands-on capacity building and technical training, and promoted the adoption of appropriate, affordable aquaculture technologies.

 

ABTECH guided communities in accessing and procuring quality inputs, including certified fish seed, basic tools, and equipment, while ensuring compliance with relevant government certification standards. In addition, the firm facilitated market linkages between farmer groups and potential buyers and supported beneficiary groups in value addition initiatives to enhance income generation, enterprise sustainability, and overall livelihood resilience.
